Landscape Award

Proceeds from various works which were awaiting sale have been donated to the Society of Scottish Artists, who decided to use the money to fund an award for Landscape painting. The award winner was selected from paintings on display at the 125th SSA annual exhibition

The 2023 award was made to Olivia Irvine for "The French House" -

painted in a style somewhat reminiscent of Kathleen's later works.

“Rocky Shore, Ardnamurchan” was exhibited by the SSA in connection with the award - a first for the artist. Three further works remain to be sold, all at the Torrance Gallery
